CCQ Formworker (journeyman or 2nd- or 3rd-year apprentice)
Main responsibilities
- Build footing forms;
- Assemble prefabricated Duraform wall forms;
- Pour concrete (25 to 100′ maximum per pour);
- Strip the forms;
- Occasionally incorporate piles;
Requirements
- CCQ competency card (carpenter-joiner);
- Construction site health and safety card (WHMIS 2015);
- Class 5 driver's licence (Class 1 or 3 is a major asset).
